To further impact our community, The aCHIeve Project has launched a summer experience targeted to teens who are looking for ways to influence their world. Over the course of this two-week program, through a blend of arts, advocacy, and mental health focuses, these 12-18-year-olds have gained a deeper understanding of their response to stress and be empowered to advocate for their own mental health.

They have created and filmed a public service announcement entitled, “What it’s Like to be a Teen in 2019.” It will be shown along with our capstone stage production, “Right Before I Go.” This play, written by Stan Zimmerman (writer of TV classics “Gilmore Girls,” “Rosanne” and “The Golden Girls”), is designed to “help broaden public perspective of suicide, eliminate the stigma associated with depression, and strengthen the relationship between survivors and those struggling every day.”

The aCHIeve Project Summer Experience This performance is possible in conjunction with La Vie Productions in New York.

Due to the nature of the material, this performance is recommended for people age 10 and up.

The Holistic Actors' Toolbox (for teens)

Driven by a commitment to well-being, a class called, “The Holistic Actor’s Toolbox” teaches tools for Life, On and Off the Stage.

There is a trend in ALL types of specialized training to intensely focus on accomplishment. Sadly, this focus does not address or embrace the needs of so many of our kids.

The Holistic Actors’ Toolbox is a new, fresh, mindful approach to the craft where we will empower kids to make connections on how they approach materials in an acting class and then use those said skills to incorporate into their lives.

Art is magical, and that the chance to create gives us a chance to evolve. So this class was created. First step: The Acting component, “The Wholeistic Actor” (fun play on words).

Future sessions add singing, movement and more.

8 Week Session

*On-going enrollment welcome
